F1 Engineering founder, Roger Flynn has over 40 years of professional racing engineering, in International FIA Formula One, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Indycar and Champ Car, Motorcycle and Off-Road racing. Roger has worked in engine and suspension development almost all of his life, working on some of the worlds most exotic engine development programs, from modifying cylinder heads for the European Formula 3 cars in the early 60's, working with the 16 cylinder BRM's and the V12 Honda formula one engines, to the Offenhouser, Ford 4 Cams, Cosworth DFX and the AMC twin turbo Indy engines in the 70's, 80's and 90's.
The F1 Engineering engineering and design department computers run the very latest CAD, Stress Analysis and Data Acquisition software, along with 3-D Solid Modeling and Multi-Axis CNC programming software
The F1 Engineering machine shop has all late model HAAS and HITACHI-SEIKI Multi Axis CNC mills and lathes, backed up by the very latest Mitutoyo CMM computerized inspection.
